mayavi.mlabをインポートするとSyntaxErrorになる

生じた問題

Anacondaで仮想環境を作成し、"from mayavi import mlab"を行おうとしたところ、以下のようにSyntaxErrorが生じました。本問題を解決し、mlabをインポートするためにはどうすればよいでしょうか。

import mayavi ではエラーは生じません。from mayavi import mlabとした場合のみ発生します。

既に解決されている可能性もあるのですが，
つい先ほどまで私も同じエラーに遭遇し，
解決できたため回答させていただければと思います．
解決したと言っても，下記の参考URLにおける回答で，

In windows, i only find the file "state_pickler.py" and removed the empty lines after the "", saved it and all works fine.

とあり，これを実行しただけではございますが...
具体的には，state_pickler.pyの1210，1212，1458，2004行目の空白行を削除致しました．
例として1210行目付近で
