epelレポジトリでのopensslのバージョンアップについて

有識者の皆様、よろしくお願いします。

現在、CentOS 6.7のOpenSSLのアップデートを検討しています。

【環境】
CentOS release 6.7 (Final)
Linux cent6.test.com 2.6.32-573.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jul 23 15:44:03 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

現在のバージョン ：openssl-1.0.1e-42.el6_7.4
希望するバージョン ：openssl-1.0.1e-48.el6_8.1
(redhatの脆弱性リリースバージョン URL：https://access.redhat.com/ja/solutions/2310151)

・標準で提供されているCentOSのレポジトリには希望バージョンがありませんでしたので、
epelのレポジトリを追加して、opensslの最新バージョンを取得できないか試みました。
※インストール手順は省略します

下記の「★」から判断するに、①epelのレポジトリからも、最新バージョンを取得しているように見えるのですが

【質問内容】
① epelレポジトリでは、openssl-1.0.1e-48.el6_8.1のバージョンは公開されていないということでしょうか？

② openssl-1.0.1e-48.el6_8.1の更新手順について、更新方法があればご教授頂けないでしょうか？
※rpmについて知識が少ないため、依存関係を考慮して、可能な限りyumで実施したいと考えています。

勉強不足で申し訳ありませんがお願いします。

CentOS 7 はリリースされているみたいですけど、

RHEL は現在 6.8 なので CentOS も 6.8 を待つ必要があるようです。

6.7 でも CR リポジトリを使えばインストールできるかもしれません。

CR リポジトリは次のようにすれば使えるかもしれません（わたしは使ったことはないです）。

yum install centos-release-cr
yum --enable cr update

CRレポジトリの存在についてご教授頂きありがとうございます。
検証環境にて、CRレポを追加して、バージョンが更新されることを確認しました。
CRレポジトリについて、自己判断で利用してみます。

パッケージ名にel6_8とありますように、このrpmはRHEL 6.8に含まれるものです。ところが、現状ではCentOSが6.7までしか出ていないので、まだCentOSから利用することはできません。

あと、EPELは「Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux」の略で、

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 向けの高品質なアドオンパッケージであり、

とあるように（プロジェクトサイト）、あくまでオプショナルなものを提供するものです。RHELやCentOS本体にあるもののバージョン違いを提供するものではありません。
