raspberrypiでibeaconのパケット情報を取得したいです

このブログを参考にさせていただいているのですが

npm install bleacon

環境を作っている上記の部分でエラーが起こり最後の実行ができません。
どのような原因が考えられるでしょうか？
また、対策方法わかる方がおられましたら教えてください。

nodeは、このブログ時代のものが存在しなかったため、バージョン13.5.0
npmは、6.13.4をインストールしています。

また、上記のサイトでは環境変数PATHをbashrcに書き込んでいるものを、bash_profileに、
書き込んでいます。
