PythonでSettingWithCopyWarningがでる

Question

pythonで以下のようにしたところSettingWithCopyWarningという警告が出ました。
プログラムはそのまま進行しましたが気持ちが悪いので解決したいです。

print(df)
df['C'] = df['A']/df['B']
print(df)

      A   B
5     3   2
6    11   5
14    2   1
15    9   3
18    5   4
... ... ...
41   25  10
44    8   2
47    8   8
48   17   4
51    6   3

.locを使えと書かれているので試みましたが駄目でした。

df.loc[:,'C'] = df.loc[:,'A']/df.loc[:,'B']

こちらに書かれている部分の問題ではなく、この前に書かれているコードに原因があります。
dfのインデックスが飛び飛びになっていることから、dfは別のデータフレームから抜き出して作成したものなのではないですか？
df = df_orig[df_orig['B'] != 0] みたいな。

このとき、dfを変更すると、
・dfだけを変更しようとしているのか
・df_origも変更したいのか
がわからないため、warningが出ます。

前者の場合、

df = df.copy()
df['C'] = df['A'] / df['B']

のように、df.copy()でコピーであることを明示してやればよいです。

後者の場合は、

df_orig.loc[df_orig['B'] != 0, 'C'] = df['A'] / df['B']

のように、元のデータフレームで.locを使って代入してやる必要があります。
