seabornがインストールできない

pip3 install seaborn
pip install seaborn
上のコマンドのどちらかでseabornをインストールしようとしたらどちらもできませんでした

pythonバージョンは３.９であり、pipの方も最新にアップグレードしてあります。
何がいけないのでしょうか？

OSはmacでしょうか？

はいm1 macです。
ターミナルでpython --versionを打つと3.9.1と出るのでデフォルトでpython３になっていると思います

py -3.9 -m pip install seabornを試されてはいかがでしょう。

python -m pip install seabornで正常にインストールできましたが、import seabornができない状態です。
Import "seaborn" could not be resolvedPylancereportMissingImports
このようなエラーが出てしまいます。

python -m pip install seabornだけでなく、回答欄に書いたように-3.9を足すのは試してみましたか？

python -m install seabornでインストールした後にpip3 install seabornをするとよくわからないですが使えるようになりました。
