Rubyのバージョンを2.5.7から２.７.1アップデートできない

Question

Rubyのバージョンを2.5.7から２.７.1にアップデートを試みています。rbenv install -v 2.7.1したところ下記のようなエラーが出ました。
原因わかる方お願いいたします。

2.5.7も、rbenvでインストールしたのでしょうか？

Homebrewのrbenvにruby2.7.1をインストールしてみました。
問題なくインストールできます。
opensslも自動的にrbenv配下にインストールされます。

~ $ rbenv install 2.7.1

私もRuby 2.7.1をrbenv経由でインストールしようとして同様の問題に遭遇しました。
私の環境ではopensslのパスがおかしかったようでopensslがインストールされていないように見えていたので、以下の通りのことをやって解決しました。

opensslをインストール

brew install openssl

※ここは環境によってはbrew upgrade opensslの方が良いのかもしれません。

RUBY_CONFIGURE_OPTS環境変数がセットされてなければセットする

# 以下を.bash_profileに追記
export RUBY_CONFIGURE_OPTS="--with-openssl-dir=$(brew --prefix openssl@1.1)"

.bash_profileを再読み込み

. ~/.bash_profile

Ruby 2.7.1を再度インストール

rbenv install 2.7.1
