npm installを実行しても、node_modulesが作成されません

Question

node_modulesを追加したいのですが、以下エラーが出てしまい追加することができません。
エラーへの対処方法を教えていただきたいです。
gulp-cliまではインストールできていると思います。

Windows 10 (11?) PC に node-v16.14.2-x64.msi を使って npm を含めてインストール済みということですか？　であればそのことを質問欄を編集して追記してください。

SASSが「node-sassのメンテやめるわ」宣言してるから使うのやめよう。

大勢が去った理由は悪名高きnode-gypだったりする
だから我先にと逃げ出したのね。

node-sassはnode-gypを内部で使ってるけどこのnode-gypがヤバい
これを使って別言語からコンパイルしつつ導入するんだけど、
兎に角エラー出まくりでハマりまくる。

特にWindowsユーザーにとってのnode-gypが鬼門過ぎる
「node-gyp windows」でググると大量に奮闘記事が引っかかる。
質問者さんだけじゃないってことね。teratail上にもnode-gypの質問が大量にある。

Node.jsをある程度知っている中上級者なら良いんだよ。
でもnode-gyp踏んでる人の大半がNode.js触りたてですとか、SASS使いたいだけですみたいな初心者。

なんでPython や Visual C++ を要求しはじめんの？
C++はNode.jsのコアなモジュールに関係してるから百歩譲ってわかるけど、
Python要求する意味が1ミリも理解出来ん。Node.jsで書き直すわけにはいかんの？

マイクロソフトがガイドラインを作ってくれたり、
windows-build-toolsを作ってくれてる人まで登場してる
もしnode-gypに立ち向かうなら参考にどうぞ。

もちろん逃げられるものなら逃げた方が良い。

そもそも論として、node-sassは非推奨となっています（GitHub）。Dart Sass（npm上ではsass）に乗り換えましょう。
