【vagrant】【時刻】ホスト側の時間と一緒にする方法【時間がずれてしまう：初心者】

Question

現在、プログラミングの勉強をしている者です。

ローカル開発環境を整えるために
vagrantでPHP+mysqlの勉強をやっているのですが
vagrantをssh接続時の時間がホスト側（私のPCの時間）と一致していない事に気付きました。

なんとかvagrant側と私のPCの時間を一致させる為にネットで検索して色々調べてみました。

1. UTCになってしまっている場合の対処法

まずCentOS Minimalのboxとかつかってるとよく起きる問題として、
システム時刻がUTCになっているという問題があります。
dateコマンドで確認してみましょう

$ date
2014年 1月 7日 火曜日 17:10:43 UTC

---

$ sudo rm /etc/localtime
$ sudo ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Tokyo /etc/localtime
再度dateコマンドを実行してみましょう

$ date
2014年 1月 8日 水曜日 02:11:18 JST
2. vagrant側の時刻とホスト側の時刻があっていない

ホスト側の時刻と同期させるのが一番いいのではないでしょうか？
ということでVagrantfileに以下のように記述しましょう。

config.vm.provider :virtualbox do |vb|
vb.customize ["setextradata", :id, "VBoxInternal/Devices/VMMDev/0/Config/GetHostTimeDisabled", 0]
end

私の環境だと

このように「JST」になっていて時間がずれている状態です。
なので

vagrantfileに3行を追加しました。

編集したvagrantfileの場所：

C:\Users\ユーザー名\MyVagrant\MyCentOS

atomで開いて編集して保存しました。

その後に
vagrantを停止
vagrant halt

そして
vagrant up

で起動した後にputtyでssh接続を行って「$ date」で時刻を表示して見た所、
変わらずに時間がずれている状態です。

初心者のため、何か簡単なうっかりミスや大きな間違いをおかしていましたら
教えて頂けると嬉しいです。

※NTPを使っての時刻合わせは
インストール・リポジトリの登録、共にエラーが表示されて
NTPの起動自体が出来ていない為、

config.vm.provider :virtualbox do |vb|

こちらをvagrantfileに書き込む方法を選択しました。

centos6.8です。

ロケールの設定をするだけで、時刻は合うはずですよ。

それでもダメなら、

chrony をインストールしましょう。

教えて頂いたコードをさっそく記載してみたのですが
vagrant upの時にエラーが表示されました。
私が無知すぎて問題があると思うのですが

一番最後の３行の部分を
config.vm.provision "shell", inline: <<-SHELL
timedatectl set-timezone Asia/Tokyo # ここ

に変更したのですが、別の部分に追加するのでしょうか？

エラー文：

このように設定をしてみて
vagrantを再起動してみたのですが、時刻がずれたままでした。

今は教えて頂いたchrony についてネットで調べています。
centos7からという風な記事が多いのですが、
私はcentos6.8なのですが大丈夫でしょうか？もっと調べてみます。
