WordPressのプラグインPopular Postsでカテゴリー名のCSSが反映されない

Question

前提・実現したいこと

WordPressのプラグインPopular Postsでカテゴリー名のCSSが反映されないので反映させたいです。
テーマはtwentynineteenを使っています。

カテゴリー名の部分のCSS

ul.wpp-list .category-20 a {
	font-size:12px;
	background:black;
	color:#fff;
	display:block;
	text-align:center;
	text-decoration:none;
}

検証機能などを見てみるときちんとcategory-20などのクラスは表示されています。
カスタマイズのほうのCSS追加に追加してみましたがそちらでも反映されませんでした。

アーカイブの方では反映されていました。

CSS が、反映されないとは、どのようになるのでしょうか？

質問に記述したCSSのような装飾がまったくつかないんです。ただ文字とリンクがあるだけなんです。

Chrome 等のWebブラウザのデベロッパーツールで、コンソールを確認すると何かエラーが出ていたりしませんか？

ul.wpp-list .category-20　aからaを削除したら反映されました。
