C# JSON文字列のデシリアライズがうまくいかない

エラーメッセージ
Newtonsoft.Json.JsonSerializationException: 'Cannot deserialize the current JSON array (e.g. [1,2,3]) into type 'UsefulApp.Logic.AppLogics+Root' because the type requires a JSON object (e.g. {"name":"value"}) to deserialize correctly.
To fix this error either change the JSON to a JSON object (e.g. {"name":"value"}) or change the deserialized type to an array or a type that implements a collection interface (e.g. ICollection, IList) like List<T> that can be deserialized from a JSON array. JsonArrayAttribute can also be added to the type to force it to deserialize from a JSON array.

このようにデータ加工すると通りました

そこのところで、

DeserializeObject<Root>

に代えて、

DeserializeObject<List<JsonData>>

とするのが正解では？

回答ありがとうございます。
そちらの方法で試してみたのですが、メソッドグループを暗黙的に型指定された変数に代入することはできませんとエラーが出てしまいます。類似的な方法で、

var d = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<List<Root>>(JsonData);

も試してみたのですがこちらの場合はRootを参照できていないようで実行時にdの参照箇所でエラーが発生しました

Rootに定義されているはずのjson_dataが定義に含まれていないといったエラーです、実行時ではなく実行前エラーでした
