sassがインストールできない

前提・実現したいこと

sassをインストールしたいのですが、terminalでエラー発生し、先に進めません。

terminalでruby -vと打つと、

ruby 2.6.3p62 (2019-04-16 revision 67580) [universal.x86_64-darwin19]

と表示されるので、rubyはインストールされています。

どうすれば解決できるかご教示ください。

発生しているエラーメッセージ

sudo gem install sass

と打つと、

試したこと

◯マックをエルキャピタンに完成したパネルに宝石がコケる件
で

xcode-select --install
sudo gcc --version

で、xcodeをインストールした後に、

sudo gem install sass

でもダメでした。

◯MacでSassがエラーでインストールでできない問題を解決した話【一瞬で解決するかも】
を参考に

sudo gem install sass -n /usr/local/bin/

を試してもダメでした。

◯2-7 インストールや実行中にエラーが起こった場合の対処法
の通り、

gem source -a http://rubygems.org/

と打った後の対応をしてもダメでした。

でコマンドを打っても、

全く同じ状況でした。（Xcodeをインストールしたり。。。）
もうすでに解決しているかもしれませんが、私は下記を参考にしたら解決しました。

gemパッケージが依存している、libffiがインストールされていないため、コンパイルができなていません。
Macであれば、Homebrewをインストールし、brewコマンドでlibffiをインストールするのが簡単です。

$ /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"
$ brew install libffi
$ sudo gem install sass

回答ありがとうございます。 /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)" brew install libffi を試したのち、sudo gem install sassを入力してもダメだったのですが、これは何が原因でしょうか？ brew -vと入力したところ、 Homebrew 3.0.4-50-ga930e2b Homebrew/homebrew-core (git revision 95657f0; last commit 2019-04-12) と表示されたのですが、これはHomebrewはインストールされているのでしょうか？

/bin/bash 。。。は、一回だけ実施すればよいです。何度もやると2回目以降失敗するでしょう。 brew install libffi を実行したあと、どういった内容が出力されますか？

This restriction has been made on GitHub's request because updating shallow clones is an extremely expensive operation due to the tree layout and traffic of Homebrew/homebrew-core and Homebrew/homebrew-cask. We don't do this for you automatically to avoid repeatedly performing an expensive unshallow operation in CI systems (which should instead be fixed to not use shallow clones).
