javaのfor文について

Question

javaやってると、for (;;)が出てきました。
このfor(;;)っていうのは、for(int i=0;;i++)のiをメソッド内で使わない時に用いるものなんでしょうか？

似てるけど、違います。
単なる無限ループ。

個人的にはfor()より、while()ですが、こちらを推奨する人もいたような。
(なんか理由があったけど、忘れました)

for(int I=0;; I++)も無限ループじゃないのですか？

変数iやIをメソッドで使うか使わないかではなく、for文自体がfor ( [ForInit] ; [Expression] ; [ForUpdate] ) Statement
となっていて、式(Expression)の部分が空である場合、trueとして扱うのがプログラミング言語Javaの仕様であり、結果的に無限ループになるから、なのです。
