sudo apt-get update のエラー Ubuntu

#わからない事
AWSのEC２にログインをしてEC2インスタンスの環境構築をしています。

その際sudo apt-get updateを行うとネットワークに接続できませんというエラーになってしまいました。

EC2にログインした際も接続に失敗しました等の警告が出たのでAWS側のインターネット設定の問題かなとは思っているのですが全体像が理解しきれてないため、どこを確認すればいいのかがわかりません。

わかる方いましたら是非知恵を貸して欲しいです。
