vimでinsertすると改行される

Question

centos6.10でvimを使用しています。TeraTermからSSH接続をしています。
vimを起動して文字を挿入しようとすると、一行目が消えてしまいます。
（正確には上にスクロールすると一行目はあるのですが、なぜか方向キーで一行目までいけない）
設定しなおしたりしましたが治りませんでした。
vimをアンストしたほうがいいのでしょうか。

vimrc 等の設定はどうなっていますか？

~/.vimrc
/etc/vimrc

とかで何か設定されていませんか？

設定ファイルを追加させていただきました。
一つ目が自分で設定した、~/.vimrc　で
二つ目が何も触っていない、/etc/vimrc　です。

~/.vimrc、/etc/vimrc をバックアップして一度アンインストールしたほうがいいかと思います。
アンインストール後にファイルが残っている場合は削除してから vim を再インストールして、/etc/vimrc を初期状態にしてみて、差分を比較したほうがいいかもしれません。

私の環境は RHEL 6.10 で vim-enhanced をインストールしてみましたが、/etc/vimrc は異なっていました。

初期状態で問題がなければ、~/.vimrc を1行ずつ追加して問題が出る箇所を特定してみるしかないかと思います。

もう一度インストールして設定しなおしたら無事に治りました。
ありがとうございます。　バックアップを取ったので見比べてみようと思います。
