prototypeの保存してページの移動がしたい

Question

前提・実現したいこと
prototypeの部屋を作りたい
しかし保存しようとすると何も起きず
エラーも出ません
それをどうにかしたいです

ruby on railsでの作成途中でおきました

Codeはコードタグ<code>で囲ってください。

controllerの if @prototype.saveを if @prototype.save!(ビックリマーク)にするとエラーが表示されると思いますので、それを調べると期待する動作ができるようになるかと思います。

修正しました、すると表記のエラーが出るのですがどうしたら良いでしょうか

何も起きてないことはないと思います。

app/controllers/prototypes_controller.rb:12:in `create'
   (0.1ms)  ROLLBACK

ROLLBACKが発生しているので

  def create
    @prototype = Prototype.create(prototype_params) # ROLLBACKの発生源は多分ココ
    if @prototype.save
#   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 一度保存に失敗しているものはもう一度保存しても失敗する
       redirect_to root_path
    else
      render :new
    end
  end

ここで保存に失敗し、render :newが実行されています。

該当箇所でデバッグしてください。もしくは

Prototype.create!(prototype_params)

if @prototype.save!

のようにcreateやsaveの代わりにcreate!やsave!メソッドを使うと失敗したときに例外を発生させるようになるので原因を画面から確認できると思います。

あとcreateメソッドはsaveの処理も含まれているのでメソッド内の処理としてはおかしなことになってます。

上記を見直してください。
あと質問の追記で、Validation failed: Image can't be blankとバリデーションエラーが起こっています。
ひとまずImageを入力してから保存してみましょう。

imageも入れて保存しようとしましたがうまく行きませんでした
!も入れてundefined method `save！' for #<Prototype:0x00007fa55551c3e8> Did you mean? save save!
と出てsaveに直したらと出ます
