git init を実行できない【Hugoを利用したい】

##　やりたいこと

Hugoを利用する為、Step 3: Add a Theme　を実行したいのですが、
git initで下記のエラーが出てしまいます。

##　試したこと

brew install gitを試しましたが、git 2.28.0が既にインストール済みであると表示されました。

ですが、git --versionをしても、git initの際と同じ下記のエラーが出ます。

##　エラー

git init

xcrun: error: active developer path ("/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer") does not exist
Use `sudo xcode-select --switch path/to/Xcode.app` to specify the Xcode that you wish to use for command line developer tools, or use `xcode-select --install` to install the standalone command line developer tools.

たぶんmac使ってるんだろうけど、動作環境も書かず、エラーメッセージに表示されている内容をちゃんと読んで実行したのかも書かずに質問するのは一体どういう神経なのか？と思いますが。
