Rails でform_forを使うとエラーが出ます。

Question

前提・実現したいこと

staffs/index.html.erbでは同じようにform_forを記述して問題なく動作するのに、stattic_pages/home.html.erbで同じようにform_forを記述するとエラーがでマス。

質問は
・form_forは数あるコントローラーの中からなにを持ってどのコントローラーにいけば良いのか判断するのか？
・このエラーが出ているform_forはTimetableControllerに飛んでいないということですよね？
・なぜ、今回のようなエラーが出てしまうのか？

発生している問題・エラーメッセージ

form_forを使ってデータベースの内容を更新したいのですが、下記のエラーが出てうまくいきません。なにが原因なのでしょうか？

stattic_pages/home.html.erb の <%= form_for(@timetable) do |f| %>の @timetable がnilのため発生しているエラーです。

StaticPagesController の def home で

  def home
    if logged_in_as_staff?
      @micropost  = current_staff.microposts.build
      @feed_items = current_staff.feed.paginate(page: params[:page])
    end
  end

となっていて定義されていません。

この home.htmlは新規のtimetableを作るのでしょうか？
でしたら
@timeteble = Timetable.new
としてください。既に登録済のものを編集する場合は、そのtimetableを入れる必要があります

じつは、このform_forはデータベースにあるtimetableのなかにユーザーの名前を確認し、ログインしたスタッフがデータベースの中身を見るための物なんです。なので最終的にはユーザーの名前を登録できるしたいのですがまずはform_forをviewで表示させるためにこのコードを書いてみました。しかし、えらーが出てし待っている状態です。
いぜん同じエラーになってしまいます。他にも何か原因があるのでしょうか？

@timetableに入っているオブジェクトに問い合わせる事でform_forは送信先を選びます。

StaticPagesControllerは大抵のインスタンス変数を設定しませんので
@timetableはnilである事が予想されます。

対して、TimetablesController#newでは@timetableにTimetable.newを代入しており
Timetableオブジェクトは送信先を問われると(新規作成の場合)/timetablesを答えるため正常に動いています。
