brew install peclで No available formula with the name "pecl" と表示される

環境

• HOMEBREW_VERSION: 1.6.3
• macOS: 10.13.4-x86_64

問題

brew install pecl

と打ち込んでpeclコマンドをインストールしようとすると以下のエラーが出ます。

brewのエラーのようです。
同様の事象を解消している記事がありましたので、
下記のリンクの方法を試してみて下さい。
brew installでError: No available formulaが返るとき

homebrew/science/pecl
の記述が見つけれずm(_ _)m

No available formula with the name "pecl" と出ている通り、homebrew に pecl という formula はありません。
例えば、homebrew から php（php 7.2.5の場合の例）を入れると /usr/local/Cellar/php/7.2.5/bin に pecl が入ります。

どのバージョンかに限らず、homebrew で php をインストールすると pecl はインストールされます。
`brew install php` だと現状では php 7.2.5 がインストールされ、pecl は上記コメントの場所にインストールされます。homebrew で php@7.1 を入れている場合だと現状では、
/usr/local/Cellar/php@7.1/7.1.16_1/bin/pecl
php@5.6 の場合だと
/usr/local/Cellar/php@5.6/5.6.35_1/bin/pecl
にあります。
