【Spring boot】localhost:8080に接続できない

前提・実現したいこと

Visual studio codeでspring bootを正常に起動させたい。
http://localhost:8080に接続できない。

発生している問題・エラーメッセージ

エラーの原因、内容を調べてもわからない。

DemoApplication 以外に何か Controller を作りましたか？

いえ、特には作っていないです。

たぶん HelloController とかを作る必要があるのだと思います。

試してみましたが、
やはり「[Error - 5:00:09 PM] Connection to server is erroring. Shutting down server.」が出力されますね。
「http://localhost:8080/hello」をブラウザに入力しても、「このページは動作していません」と表示され、Qiit記事のような結果にはならないですね。。。

うーん、プロジェクトの作成と実行はそれぞれどのようにしましたか？

最初は↓の手順で実施しました。

もう一つ試したのが、
spring initializerでzipファイル作成して、vscodeで作成したフォルダ開いて、該当ソースに記載している「DemoApplication」クラスを実行しました。
↓のエラーは出力されなくなったのですが、ローカルホストに接続できずに行き詰まっています。
[Error - 5:00:09 PM] Connection to server is erroring. Shutting down server.」

今はローカルホストになぜ接続できないかですね。。。
MacOSにESETをインストールしているから？

ESETをdisableにしたらいけました！
