vue.jsをインストールしたい

お世話になります。
現在 Ruby on Railsでポートフォリオを作成中です。Vue.jsに挑戦してみようと思い、インストールしてみましたがエラーが発生してしまったため、解決策のアドバイスを頂きたいです。
・node -v：v12.18.3
・npm -v：6.14.6
・導入予定のvue.jsのバージョン：2.6.12

npm ERR! Error: EACCES: permission denied, access '/usr/lib/node_modules' と出ているので、ログインしているユーザーのアクセス権限がないのでは？？ sudo npm install -g @vue/cli とやったらどうなりますか？？

インストールされていると思いますね。念のため、下記コマンドでバージョンの確認をお願いします。 $ vue --version バージョンが出力されます。

$ vue --version と入力して、@vue/cli 4.5.7が表示されました！ここで1時間ほど止まっていたので大変助かりました！ありがとうございます！
