setRequestPropertyしたプロパティがセットされていない

Question

		URL obj = new URL(url);
	    HttpURLConnection con = (HttpURLConnection) obj.openConnection();
	    
	    
	    con.setRequestMethod("POST");
	    con.setRequestProperty("Host","somedomain.com");
	    con.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8");
	    con.setRequestProperty("Content-Length", "30");

	    System.out.println("### getRequestProperty Host : " + con.getRequestProperty("Host") );
	    System.out.println("### getRequestProperty Content-Type : " + con.getRequestProperty("Content-Type") );
	    System.out.println("### getRequestProperty Content-Length : " + con.getRequestProperty("Content-Length") );

上記のようなコードを書いたのですが、
セットしたはずのプロパティがきえてしまいます。
何故かご存知のかたいらっしゃらないでしょうか。
Java7 Tomcat6です。

### getRequestProperty Host : null
### getRequestProperty Content-Type : application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8
### getRequestProperty Content-Length : null

詳しい事情は分からないのですが、HttpURLConnectionでは、下記のヘッダーが制限されていて、暗黙裏に削除されてしまうようです。

• Access-Control-Request-Headers
• Access-Control-Request-Method
• Connection
• Content-Length
• Content-Transfer-Encoding
• Host
• Keep-Alive
• Origin
• Trailer
• Transfer-Encoding
• Upgrade
• Via
