Perl ダブルクォートのエスケープがうまくいってないっぽい

ブログのRSSからトピックを取得するプログラムを作ったのですが、ダブルクォートのエスケープがうまくいっていないのか、エラーが発生します。

を実行すると、

と怒られます。ダブルクォートの対応は気をつけたつもりですが、見落としはありますでしょうか？

ダブルクォートのエスケープがうまくいっていないのか、エラーが発生します。

むしろ、それより前の行date =~ s/\-./g;だと思います。 置換先の文字列指定が足りなくないですか？"-."を除去するつもりだとして、これを date =~ s/\-.//g; こうして。

まず、引用部分で同じエラーになることを確認します。

$ perl -wc t1.pl
Backslash found where operator expected at t1.pl line 14, near "</li>\"
        (Missing operator before ?)
Unquoted string "n" may clash with future reserved word at t1.pl line 14.
String found where operator expected at t1.pl line 14, near "$line .= ""

で、

# $date =~ s/\-./g;
$date =~ s/\-.//g;

に修正します。これをperlにかけてみると、

$ perl -wc t1.pl
Name "main::counter" used only once: possible typo at t1.pl line 5.
Name "main::url" used only once: possible typo at t1.pl line 1.
t1.pl syntax OK
$

少なくとも、エラーは無くなりました。

すみません、
$date =~ s/\-./g;
の部分は日付の「-」を「.」に変更するつもりで書きました。

何に変更するか、除去するかは重要ではなく、s/置換元/置換先/ と、'/'が2つあることがだいじです。

置換の文はまさしくその通りでした。

ただ、今回の不具合はどうも
my $date = $_->{pubDate}
で取得する日付文字列が「Jun 6, 2020 12:00:00」みたいな形だとわかりまして、一旦日付型に代入してから y, m, d をそれぞれ取り出すようにしました。
