（rails）carrierwaveでS3にアップロードする際のエラー(SocketError)

Question

carrierwaveでS3に画像をアップロードしたい（rails）

carrierwaveでS3に画像をアップロードを実装中にエラーが発生し、どうしても解決できないため質問させていただきます。
お力を貸していただきたいです。

※上手くいかなかったので、いろいろなサイトを参考しています。

開発環境：docker

発生している問題・エラーメッセージ

画像をcreateする際に「getaddrinfo: Name or service not known (SocketError)」とエラーが発生します。

推測で、あくまでも可能性のお話をしてみます。

以下の記事を見た感じだと、そのエラーは、hostが見つからないときに発生するようです。

私は以下の記事の通りに設定を書いているのですが、

[Rails] CarrierWave 経由で AWS S3 にファイルをアップロードする際の設定

この設定と比較すると、

config.storage :fog
config.asset_host = 'https://s3.amazonaws.com/バケット名'

の部分が異なっているので、試しにここを合わせてみてはいかがでしょうか？

config.storage によって、保存先をローカルディレクトリではなくて外部に設定し、config.asset_host によって、外部storageのURLを指定していると思いますので、試す価値はあるとは思います。

※見たところ、storageのホストURLが一切指定されていないので、そのせいでどこに保存したらいいかわからなくてエラーが出ていそうな気がします。

ご指摘の通り、carrierwave.rbを修正しました。
しかしながらエラーメッセージは変わりませんでした。
他に確認すべき箇所はあるでしょうか。

他には docker の host 設定が怪しそうです。

こちらのURLを見る限り、railsではなくて、OSのネットワーク設定に問題がある可能性もあるようです。
