gem sasscがbundle installされない

前提・実現したいこと

Gemfileをbundle installをしようとすると下記のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

An error occurred while installing sassc (2.2.0), and Bundler cannot
continue.
Make sure that `gem install sassc -v '2.2.0' --source 'https://rubygems.org/'`
succeeds before bundling.

エラー文に記載通りgem install sassc -v '2.2.0' --source 'https://rubygems.org/'をすると

Building native extensions. This could take a while...

Done installing documentation for sassc after 0 seconds

このようにインストールは成功したようにメッセージが表示されます。しかし、
bundle install --path vendor/bundleをしようとすると

In Gemfile:
  bootstrap was resolved to 4.3.1, which depends on
    sassc-rails was resolved to 2.1.2, which depends on
      sassc

また、同じエラーが表示され詰まっております。
どなたかわかる方がいらっしゃいましたらご教授お願い致します。
