rails g controller が作用しない

Ruby on rails でブログアプリを開発しようとしています。
rails g controller Articleを実装中に以下のエラーメッセージが発生しました。

試したこと

他のサイトで試していたspring stopをしましたが問題は解決しませんでした。
rails g controller を実装した瞬間にこのエラーメッセージのようなものが出てきます。

「rails new」をしてくださいと書かれている気がします。
現在はControllerを作りたいディレクトリにいますか？

rails new blog と実行したのちにcontrollerを作ろうとしたらこのエラーコードが出てきてしまいました。

を実行するとなんて表示されますか？

を実行すると blog があったりしますか？

コマンドが見つかりませんと表示されました！

controllerを作る場所が、
本来は /*/**/blog (pwdを実行した時にでるパス)
であるはずなのですが、/home/vagrant/x と表示されています。
つまり、rail g controller　コマンドを実行するべき場所に今はいません。
cd コマンドを利用して、blogディレクトリへ行き、
rails g controller を実行すると正しく動くかなぁと思います。。！

cdコマンドについて例えば、この記事なんかを読んでみてください！
また、railsをvagrant上で作られているこの記事なんかも参考になるかもです。
