サーバ上のファイルアクセス時に｢指定されたネットワーク名は利用できません｣エラーが発生

サーバ上に配置した、VB.net(.NetFrameWork2.0)で作成した、サーバ上のテキストファイルをオープン～１行書込み～Closeを繰り返すアプリケーションをWindows10クライアントからショートカットで実行時に、ファイルオープンもしくは書き込み時に「指定されたネットワーク名は利用できません」という例外エラーが不定期に発生します。

異常が発生するWin10クライアントと同一ネットワーク内にあるWin7クライアントではエラーは発生しません。

使用しているサーバはWindows Server 2012 R2、別セグメントに存在します。

当該エラーの発生原因をご教示下さい。

以上のコードをForm内に記載、ボタンを3つ並べ、Button1クリック時にTimer1のEnabledをTrueにし、Timer1_Tick内で Button2がクリックされるまでテキストファイルへの処理を繰り返し、Button3
でアプリケーションを終了しています。

ソースコードの開示方法がこれでよいか不安ですが、引き続きアドバイスの程よろしくお願い致します。

Windows10の影響かどうかは何とも言えませんが、ファイルの入出力に使用しているFileSystem（Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileSystem）は過去のBasicコードの互換のためのものです。
（そもそも、ファイルオープン数に明確な制限があった時からあるものです。）
Microsoftも、よりI/Oアクセスのパフォーマンスの高いMy.Computer.FileSystemの使用を勧めているようです。
例示のTimer1_Tickイベント内のファイル書込部をMy.Computer.FileSystemを使って書くと、例えば以下のようになります。
