react-native run-androidでビルドに失敗する（react native）

いつもお世話になっております。
git cloneしてきたプロジェクトをGenymotionで動かしたいと考えているのですが、ビルド中にエラーに引っかかってしまい、先に進むことができません。

開発環境：
Mac OS
react native 0.55.3
Java 8

最初はJava 10でやっていたのですが、8じゃなきゃ動かないというStackOverflowの記事をみて切り替えてみたのですが、やはり同じエラーが生じてしまいました。汗

ご知恵のほど、拝借させていただければと思います。
