Rails プロジェクト作成時にsqliteのインストールがうまくいかない

Question

rails new プロジェクト名 を実行した時にgemのインストールでsqliteがインストールされていないとエラー表示されてしまいます。

以下のエラー文を見てみると、バージョンの問題なのか、sqlite3 is missing. Try brew install sqlite3 やMake sure that `gem install sqlite3 -v '1.3.13'` succeeds before bundling.とありますが、すでに3.19.3のインストールを行なっています。

エラー文通り、gem install sqlite3 -v '1.3.13'を行ってみましたが、これはこれでダメみたいで

とエラーされてしまいます。このエラー文で検索してみると、brewにsqlite3をインストールしろという結果が多かったのですが、すでに入っているのでお手上げという感じです。

コマンドで yum install sqlite3-develを実行しろともありましたが、CentOSの場合がほとんどでmacOSXでは違うんじゃないかなと思っています。
解決策を教えていただけると助かります。

環境は以下の通りです。
Rails 5.1.6
macOS high Sierra 10.13.3

色々検索をしてみるとsqlite-develが必要だったりと

このエラーを見る限り

checking for sqlite3_libversion_number() in -lsqlite3... no

だから

sqlite3 is missing.

と判定しています。そして解決策が複数でていますね。

Try 'brew install sqlite3',
'yum install sqlite-devel'
or 'apt-get install libsqlite3-dev'

これらのいずれかを実行し（Linuxであれば、後の２つのいずれか）←macOSXなのでこれは済みでしょう）

and check your shared library search path (the
location where your sqlite3 shared library is located).

とあります。

つまり「shared library」環境変数が、「sqlite3 shared library」のパスを設定しているか
チェックしなさい（そして設定がなければ、設定しなさい）
という意味です。

解決策

ですので一度sqlite3 の「shared library」のパスを調べ、
シェル変数shared libraryに設定してみてください。
もしかすると設定を追記できていない、のかもしれません。

たぶん　.ファイル（ドットファイル）内に追記でしょう。
